Zhang Jixun, male, graduated in July 2006 from the seven-year clinical medicine program of China Medical University and obtained a Master's degree in Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Medicine degree at Cheeloo College of Medicine, Shandong University. He currently serves as Deputy Chief Physician in the Department of Plastic and Burn Surgery at the Second Hospital of Shandong University and as an Aesthetic Medicine Attending Physician in Shandong Province. He also serves as a Youth Committee Member of the Burn and Trauma Branch of the Chinese Geriatrics Society, a Member of the Shock and Sepsis Professional Committee of the Chinese Research Hospital Association, a Member of the Aesthetic and Plastic Surgery Physicians Branch of the Shandong Medical Doctor Association, and a Member of the Burn and Plastic Surgery Professional Committee of the Jinan Medical Association. He has participated in 4 national and provincial/ministerial research projects, including a Key Project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China. To date, he has published more than 10 papers in domestic and international journals, 3 of which are indexed by SCI; he served as associate editor of 1 monograph and co-author of 3 monographs. His main research interests include fine aesthetic plastic surgery, minimally invasive aesthetic techniques, comprehensive treatment of scars and keloids, burn care, and repair and reconstruction of tissue defects and hard-to-heal wounds.
